OK, I just bought some HardStreet Sixers So I am having a FireSale on the Original Triumph saddle bags. Yeah Yeah they sag, there not that attractive, They claim they won't hold up. There not perfect a few marks here and there but overall they look pretty good so far. And they are 6 gallons per side.

This is perfect for the occasional bagger that only puts them on when needed.

This is what I got, A set of original 1600 Triumph saddle bags. The original mounting hardware complete. Plus I had them mounted with the Viking Quick Release brackets as shown in pictures. I have the chrome spacers and bolts all set to correct size if you mount them direct to your most rear 2 bolts on the fender strut, take off 2 bolts put on 2 bolts and your done. If you already have something mounted to the fender strut then you may need longer bolts.

All this for $200 Plus Shipping. Its all boxed up and ready to go. You can check UPS charge shipping from 14223. The box measures 22x19x16 and weighs in at 36 pounds.

The Triumph original Hardware sells for $149 on ebay, The Viking Quick Release brackets were $129 and will work with many bags. Basically the Bags are FREE.

Because of my ginormous laptop (question on another thread), what's the inside dimensions of the OEM bags?? For my purposes, if the laptop fits, I might just take these off your hands!

I read your question in the other post "How big are your bags" and actually took a piece of cardboard at that time per your question and it would not fit.

They're slanted (parallelogram shaped), approx 21" (L) x 12" (H) x 8" (W) - Externally.

Internally they're approx. 18" x 11" x 6"

According to Triumph they're are 22 liters per side which is 6 Gallons. 12 Gallons in total.

Thanks, IngerMan. Dang, I really need a smaller laptop!!!

Too bad you can't make Bennington. Would've been nice to meet ya! And there's a handful of Buffalonians heading over, one riding an LT!

Next Year, I have the wife looking forward to it. This year we are spending as much free time as possible in Michigan visiting a ill family member. Is the event always a certain date like week after memorial day?

Family first! Yes, pretty sure it's always weekend after Memorial Day. Dates usually get posted pretty soon after the event. I'll update on the appropriate thread (sorry that my note hijacked this one!).

Good luck selling the bags.

I thought this would be a quick sale. One more shot before it goes ebay with increase dollar. I'll through in the saddle men liners I used with the bags since they don't fit my new ones. That is another $40 purchase on my part.

Thanks for posting the pics. They look good - just a little too wide for what I'm doing on my bike. I think it's a great deal though, for the price!

They are a wide looking bag, especially from the back. They sit closer to the bike with the Viking quick release brackets vs the original hardware. They look pretty good side view or front in my opinion. Just need the buyer that likes a big ol butt.

The bags are pretty good storage capacity though, 12 Gal or 44 Liters . Thats why I think this deal is great for the guy that takes a half dozen weekend or long trips a year and otherwise rides bag less. My self I only ride 2 up now 95% of the time and bags are a permanent fixture on my bike.

Thanks for getting back on my pics hairdoo

That's a great set-up. On my R3 I'd just pop them off and take them into the hotel. Works a treat and keeps them dry overnight. Why does it ALWAYS rain on a getaway?!
