| | Posted : 28 Dec 2013 - 22:24 Post title : Headlight Search | | | Hi All. I'm doing some colour accents to the bike by adding Storm turn signals, black n chrome shocks and a black (single) headlight. I've read threads about headlamp options using V-rod, Triumph America and other 7" conversions.
Question: IYO, what would be a cool headlight style (taken from any bike) for the Thunderbird? I plan to search (online and boneyards) for a used chrome unit and powder coat it. Thanx!
Here's one idea (Victory Judge), not sure about the bucket style.
...and the bird's not morphing into a Vic.

I also did the headlight upgrade from the twin storm to a 7" single. The place here is Aus had black or chrome and after a lot of thought I went with the chrome, but still wonder how the black would have looked.

It looks like I can swap out the long (Storm) turn signal extension for the short (Thunderbird) and paint it.
