I have bought new passenger foot boards but they didn't have the proper mountings. I am after the mounts for them so that they can be folded up, how I have mounted them and they lok great and the better half loves them, but I need them to fold up when she ain't on the bike, this is for aThunderbird Storm. Any help would be appreciated thanks, Rusty. my E-mail is bristruder@optusnet.com.au t hanks.

If they are new OEM boards, they should fold up, so take them back under warranty.

Hi Smitty, I bought these boards 'second hand' but in bramd-new condition, (nevr used) they do fold up but I am requiring the other black bracket to bolt onto the frame. The original bracket is fine but I'm sort of superstcious about having a "ghost passenger, I'm from Old School Stock !!! I'm not sure if the stealer sells the bracket seperately , I have had quite a few heated words with my local dealer. I now take my bike 200 klms away to be serviced etc...and at the moment I'm nursing the better half back to health so can't be away from her.
I also put up a post about a riders back-rest. which I thought was a bit Grandpa -ish,(I'm 60) but won't ride without it now, after my 3,000 klm ride to Sydney from Brissy and back the loooong way !!!
Regards, Rusty in Brisvegas. Thanks for the in put.

Try Fast Eddy...he can get OEM parts. If you got a Triumph part number, give him a go.
