Hello

Does anybody have a set of Tsukayu Jumbo Strong saddlebags mounted? If so could you please post a back and side photos if possible.
I'm lining up winter project but I could really use a visual of these bags.

Thanks
John

Thanks, took a look very nice!

mat1600,

Are those Jumbo (10.75"/273mm wide) or "standard (8.5"/215mm wide) Strongs? They look great, especially the paint. Did you run a support across, couldn't tell from picture?
Could trouble you for a straight on side picture of the bags? This would be a great help. I didn't see one in you album.

Thank you
John

I think they are the strongs. Not sure but will measure them. Wouldn't want anything bigger.

Was going to run a support, but I didn't need it. We carried around 10KG of luggage in each on our last trip. The easy brackets were mounted so that they were balanced and to make them fit well I mounted them on the back two bolts of the fender. I made the bobbins myself to suit these and my custom backrest brackets.

They are good and strong and watertight. Later on I fitted handles on the top so it was easier to handle them. We did our first run of 3000miles with them and didn't notice they were there.

Mat

Thanks, that"s the profile shot I needed. Its hard to match the three rear profiles/lines (shocks, fender, exhaust) of the Bird well.
These bags do it well. The width measurement whenever you can would be a huge help.

Thank you
John

They follow the fender line about as good as it will get. Will see if I can get the width, length etc for you in the morning.

They are about the same width as the fender.

For the benefit of John and Jim - some more pics and sizes.

These are around 24'' inch from across (what you see in the pic)

...and 8 1/2 inches across (same width as rear fender.

......with rubber seals.

Intimidator

Love the two tone on your slims. My Bird is black and I'm currently running the slims as well. See picture below.
I'm going for a larger bag for capacity and look. I may end up going with the jumbo strongs (2"wider than Mat1600's). Thinking about the bag rails and guards as well.

Cheers
John
