Been buying them here since i got my speedmaster in '05, and i could never find a cheaper source so i thought i'd share. I found one or two others that were almost as cheap on one or the other, but this place has the best price on both front and rear metzelers, plus shipping isn't a sneaky way of adding to their profit as many do. I just bought the front and rear the other day and shipping as $13 total for two tires. Total cost for both w/shipping was $328.47. They process and ship quickly and even offered to replace one that i thought was defective back when i had speedy. So great service, cheapest price on metzelers. On other brands i would assume they are equally cheap, tho i only buy metzelers so i never cracked. Just thought this would be good info for those in the states who will need tires soon, and at this point i know a lot of you are almost ready for their first set. I could probably still get another 100-2000 out of mine, but summer is almost here and i want to start out with fresh shoes. If anyone has a better price out the door post it for others. But i have yet to find a cheaper source.

I just did my first weekend on a 200/55-17 (instead of 200/50-17) Pirelli Night Dragon. Nice ride, slightly increased diameter makes the speedometer exactly correct (according to GPS), and as a final plus, a little less footpeg-dragging in the twisties.
Won't know for a while how it lasts but will let you know.
I personally don't like the 880 rear tires as they are difficult to "read" how much tread you have left due to the sipes not extending into the center of the tire.
Pirelli, BTW, is an affiliate of Metzler.
