The LW hard bags look nice and have 50 L for two. They're considerably cheaper than HardStreet but I wonder about the quality.

These looked nice and appear to come in colors close to stock, black, blue and silver etc. I'm going to contact them when I get a chance. I would like to get a tracing of side profile to see how they fit.
How strong they are needs to be verified but for about $300 for pair I'm going to look real close. I have easy brackets so mounting will be easy.

I would be interested to see how well they fit on a Thunderbird. Send pics if you order a set!

I found someone who installed them on the "other forum" here is link.
Link Sounds like some reinforcing is need but seems simple enough.

Cheers

Here are some other choices, which lines seem best, opinions please?

HL series, too HD looking?

JM series, cool shape and racks

RS series (Triumph above) Like but too wide?

I'm leaning towards a set of these, will reinforce with fiberglass and maybe a aluminum plate too.

Thanks
John

I bought a set and returned them. The backs are completely flat so there is no way to get them in close. They have to be installed quite aways away from the fender. They are pretty flimsy also, definitely could be installed without reinforcement. Take a look at these....look like Tsukayu knock offs.

Which bags did you return, the RS bags and did you end up getting the a1 bags?
The a1's seem well built but I don't know if I like the humpback shape.

I could reinforce the Mutazu's for about $40. The flush back would work fine with my easy bracket/sissy bar mount (when mounted).

Thanks
John

They were RS bags. They were really flimsy. I had a pair of Hardstreet slimbags but wanted something a little bigger. The hardstreet bags are much sturdier and better made than the Mutazu bags, even though they are both ABS construction. The thunderbird really needs bags that are recessed on the back for them to look good. Otherwise they stick out too far. I ended up finding a pair of Tsukayu bags used and bought those, otherwise I would have tried the A1 bags. The A1's are recessed on the back. Like I said, they look like Tsukayu knock offs to me at half the price and no 8 week wait.

I returned the RS bags also. The trim on the light fixture had fallen off and the seemed a little flimsy
