Has anyone mounted viking saddle bags with quick release sissy bar assembly installed? In particular, using the 2 forward fender
mount bolts. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have Viking bags. But I am using Easy Brackets set up for the QR sissy bar. This uses the 2 forward fender bolts. It works great. As long as the back of the bag is relatively flat the bracket should work. This setup is very flexible and lets you take on/off the bags and/or sissy bar easily. Hope this helps.

+ 1.... I also have the OEM QR Sissy bar and Easy Brackets. No issues at all.
When ordering the Easy Brackets, mention you have the QR Sissy bar and they will send the required longer bolts to suit

I have the Viking Big Bore Quarter Circle SaddleBags installed using easy brackets with the quick release sissy bar. Install was easy and bags fit well. Posts don't really draw any attention when bags or sissy bar are off.
