I don't have a laptop and i don't want to double the cost of the tuneboy by buying one, and i sure as heck don't want to unhook my entire desktop PC and 22" widescreen to lug then up a long flight of stairs to the garage to tune the bike !

That said, when it comes to new PC technology i'm completely out of the loop. Whats the cheapest route to being able to use the tuneboy? I looked for a cheap laptop on craigslist and after an entire page i found exactly zero laptops at anything less than stupid prices. Any suggestions on how i can do this on the VERY cheap? I have no need or desire for any form of PC for any purpose other than to use with the TB.

If I were you, since you're in a pretty populated area I'd take a look on freecycle. See what is posted in your area and if nothing is there, put up your own add for a working laptop. You could manage to get one for free. If that doesn't work, ask at work if they have any laptops that they are rotating out of use. If that doesn't work, ask friends and family, then put your own ad on craigslist for a cheep laptop.

You don't need much horsepower to rune tuneboy and with new laptops available at $300 and up, used ones just aren't worth what people think they are. Do a bit of hunting and you might just pull off free, which is always a good price.

Thats almost as much as the TB. I don't want to pay nearly that much. Gotta be dirt cheap, and i thought there would some sort of cheaper solution like one of those phone size jobs or something, tho i of course need USB. I've been trying to get something via your other methods but i haven't checked out freecycle, tho i will.
