Just some information:

Storm with Hagon Shocks (which improved ride)

I got 20450 Kilos out of the oem front, at which time I changed to a Night Dragon, which lasted until 26500, I loved the better feedback and grip - so have fitted another today.

Rear oem I got 14500, and fitted a Night Dragon 200/55 and LOVED the change - much more confidence at full lean and fast turn ins. Is still on bike and looks about 70%
So clearly the rear Night Dragons hold together better than the fronts...

Interestingly to me - I am still on oem brakes front and rear - but I have heard of others needing new pads after less than 15k kilos???? Maybe I am a pussy - but I ride fairly spiritedly most weekends..

All up - I am satisfied with the Nigh Dragons as a pair - and can highly recommend....(if you are ok with cost per kilometre/mile)

Pffffft! Try riding a T'Bird in London rush-hour on a daily basis: new rear pads at 2300 miles, new front pads at 5000 miles!

Hi Mike, So you only got 6000 from the front Pirelli? Crap, not sure what mine has done but it looks like it will go further than that.

I've done 32000 kms and still on oem front pads, changed rears a while ago when doing a rear tyre because I could.

You've got some great roads up that way.

Right now,I've got alittle over 3000 miles on my front Pirelli and she does NOT look like she's gonna go too much further. It only starts out with 5/32 of tread which is a BIG rip off, especially for the price I paid for it.In the meantime, and due the talk on here,I bought an Avon Cobra for stock and will be putting that on next.I'll keep ya posted. Dave!!!

Yeah that we do - and I used a few this weekend I can tell you! Sounds like we will get similar mileage then, pads included. Am wondering about the Avon Cobra - that has been mentioned for the front - but thing is the bike is really trustworthy with the paired Dragons, so I might just have to suck it up regards cost.

Ride safe!
