i have for sale one of the above extended dipsticks which a mate brought back from the states for me.
am asking ??8 + ??2 post or you can collect (close to heathrow airport)

Sorry Eddy but I hate that dipstick. The idea is good the execution leaves a lot to be desired. No cross hatch on the dipstick to trap the oil so you can see the level. My oil is invisible on that stick, going back to the stock dip stick until somebody comes up with a better one or the bike goes away. Sorry again Eddy, hate that dipstick.

get some sand paper and scuff the end up to the marker, works fine then

Lay it on a piece of rag or paper, the level will become clear.

or get a small file and put some cross hatches on it and then spray it with white paint and when it is dry sand the paint off with some fine/wet & dry sand paper, that leaves white paint in the cross hatch indentations and guess what Just like Jamie said It works fine
