I know its a personal thing, but Im Not keen on the Indicators attached to the Calipers / lower forks though ?

Ditch.

Ditch,

those aren't the indicators, those are motolights, but I hear what you are saying.

In this case, it's function over form for me as I like the extra visiblity.

Understood !!

Ok then, if your after more light, Maybe think about getting Rid of that "Tiny little Light", and putting a Proper 7'' light on that sweet Ride ?

Ditch.

No, you have it right as is ! Well, it IS just my opinion, tho many others feel the same. When you color the radiator it makes it stick out like a sore thumb. Unless you want to draw attention to it you did it right as is. I never heard anyone say they like the look of a radiator, and personally i was pleasantly surprised once i got the bike that i found i never seem to notice it because black blends in with the frame and engine. Think about this before you do that.

i agree with Daz its friggin big enough as it is without making a feature of it, i want a mini high efficient one but so far havnt traced one.

bikes looking very smart

In general I agree, but the color is pretty dark so I don't think it would make the radiator stick out and might tie everything together

This is just my opinion, but I like the look of the color coded radiator cover. To me it gives the bike a custom look, even on the stock colors. One day if I keep this bird, I will get a blue one to match my blue/white paint scheme.

How have you run the wires down to the low level lights? Are they LED?

Yes - I installed these a few years ago and have a wiring diagram in the how-to section (they are wired so they run off the Aux light switch).

Yes you are spot on Daz. The rad must remain black to help it blend in with the frame and not stand out. They may work well for cooling but crist they are ugly.
The only reason you would want to paint the radiator is if you painted the frame the same colour as the tins for a total custom look. But then we are seriously going down the HD line.

$1000 - definitely worth it. If I lived near you I reckon I would give old mate a call for sure.

colored rad cover worked on mine. I think it looks much more finished with it painted than without. You can see the radiator, no one is missing it and it's a part of the performance aspect of the bike which is what I wanted to highlight with my build at least. Perhaps that's the defining motivation. What are you trying to do... for me it was highlight the sport and performance so I brought out those elements, for others it might be to downplay that and perhaps a more understated cover is better. Who knows. I think it works on mine, but then I absolutely hate the chrome surround which just seems to draw attention to it for no reason whatsoever.

Concur, at least on my blue/white bird, the black framed rad is hardly unnoticeable. I find the matched blue rad frame integrates the rad into the bike more, yeah it's noticeable, but it's purty.

Wow the bike really looks fantastic. It has to be the best custom job I've seen yet on a Tbird. As for the radiator cover, since everyone is commenting on it, I would typically say leave it black. However the color you've chosen is a dark color, so you could probably go either way, and it would still look good.
