I'm finishing up on my headlight/spotlight upgrade. The lamp is 7", spots are 4 1/2" same as stock.
I've installed now I need to locktite hardware and adjust beams. I looked it the service manual and I can't find out the headlight focal point measurement.
Example my truck manual states park truck certain distance from wall, mark wall with tape at a certain height and distance apart. Then adjust beams to hit marks.
Is there a focal point distance and height measurement anyone can recommend?
Thanks John
P.S. The bike started right up yesterday after long winter hibernation, has been on a battery tender all winter.

(Re: bondage007) | | | A good starting point is to measure the height of the headlight mid point from the ground and mark this height against your wall or garage door. With the bike about 15 feet from your mark the middle of high beam should hit it, dip will have a sharp cut off about 4 - 6" below and to the right in your case. You will not be far off with these measurements.
