Last Thursday my dealer called to say my bike was there...of course I was busy all weekend so this evening went down there to take a look at it. The bike came complete from the factory except for the front wheel. They will be installing the 3rd party risers I ordered along with the new longer front cables/brake line. Also the engine and bag guards. My Easy Brackets have arrive but the hard bags I ordered have not shipped yet. So it had not been cleaned up yet but I think it looks even better in person than any pics I have seen. The color is pretty close to my 900 Cardinal Red. I had concerns that their largest OEM windshield would be too tall, but it is perfect! I was surprised to see that they also included the $25 (overpriced) lock for the QR shield. So bottom line it looks like I own a new bike..... I will pick it up Friday evening or Sat if the weather is good. I think I am getting a bit excited.....

Druid I posted pics on BTK forum....

That red is VERY sharp in person. Photos do not show it well at all. In the sun it's downright fantastic.

Looks great, but you know what they say about red and police. Red looks faster, good luck. And enjoy the riding.

Congratulations! I saw the red at the Daytona dealer during bike week and it is stunning. In the sun it really sparkles. It looks like a beauty. Just remember, as it breaks in the performance, handling and mileage all improve. It should stabilize around 1,500 to 2,000 miles in my experience, but you will still be very impressed on the first ride.

I don't know what you rode before. I had a Rocket III. The first time I put the binders on I was really impressed by the power they had while stopping dead straight. Be careful til you get used to it. It stops right NOW!

If the two aren't mutually exclusive, ride safely and have a ball.

Today was the big day! Beautiful weather here in the PNW and a great day to pick up a new motorcycle. A slight hitch is that my sales guy called me yesterday to say that they installed the accessories that I ordered including the extended cables for the 3rd party risers. Thy found out that there is actually two cable kits, one for ABS and the other for non-ABS. We got the non-ABS and the brake cable is was not long enough so they had to put the stock risers back on the bike and have to order the longer cable. No big deal but after putting 102 miles on the bike today I know I will enjoy the risers and can't wait for ThrottleLock to come out with a model for the TBird. A nice bonus is that I get 4 free oil/filter changes a year, and after the 500 miles service they use Mobil 1 Racing T4 synthetic....can't argue with that. The bike is tucked in the garage right in behind my 900....I hope they get along. It is suppose to be rain for the next week so I expect the bike won't be going anywhere for awhile. Here are the pics.....

Druid the NV900 is on the sales block....it is all cleaned up, although it never got very dirty except once we I was in Montana and the road was being re-paved and a shower had come through turning everything to slick mud/clay and for a mile or so it was all I could do to keep it upright going 15mph. When I got back to the rally everbody said "wherever you have been you needed an off road bike"....lol

Yep, came with the SE package, and yes, I had priced out a bike setup like this so it did save a bunch of money. This seat has a gel pad, it does seem better than the stock, but really the test bike I rode had the stock/single and I about came off of it the first time I twisted the throttle....lol. My Corbin is much firmer and has better back support as you can see in the previous pic. I mostly wanted this seat and passenger footboards for the improved p-pad comfort for my girlfriend.

Red is specific to the 'SE' which has a touring package fitted (screen, bags, etc) You should have that option as well but i just came out in Feb (I believe)
