I went with the Rocket III Roadster badges (Thanks, xFarmer) but ultimately reverted to the stock ones. I decided to put one of the R III's on my rear fender tho!

Glad you like it, Paul. It does fit the spot rather well, I think. I paid about $70 for the pair, so I was glad to find a place for it!

As the new Thunderbird LT has metal tank badges, we should be able to get them and put them on!!

Metal, eh? Hmmm.... Can someone verify if those badges use sticky tape or screws? Some Triumphs in the past have used screws, like my 2003 Speedmaster.

Hope it stays dry for you, if not make sure you dry your wheels properly before you put it away.

Mick . . . Keep the rubber side down!!

I agree Dicky, that looks pretty damn good on the rear fender. If you had told me before I saw it I would have said no, but the photo completes the picture nicely.

On my 2010 T-bird all I did to remove the original badge was to warm it up with the wife's hairdryer. Once warmed up I just ran a plastic spatula under it and it came straight off.
I replaced it with a couple of Rocket III badges, one I found on EBay, the other ordered through my local 'Stealer'.
I would have actually preferred a slightly larger one, but anything is better than the microscopic original ones.

I had my dealer de-badge my 'Bird and apply the Rocket III badges:

But then I had a new paint scheme for the start of the 2013 riding season and have been badgeless ever since:

But know I'm contemplating adding the new 2014 LT Badge:

Hi there,

It's the 'Iron Rider - Overnight' bag from our good man Fast Eddy, here on the forum.

- Follow this link to a thread from Engage in the accessories section regarding the bag

- Follow this link to a Search list containing various posts.

Hope that helps!
