I recently purchased a National Cycle Switchblade 2-up from Fast Eddy. I chose this one because of all the reported buffeting with the Triumph screen, and hadn't really seen so much on this one. I'm 6'2", and the top of the screen lines up between nose and chin, pretty much like it should. Unfortunately, getting pretty severe buffeting above 50 MPH - really not tolerable at 70. Eddy's working with me to find a solution, but wanted to open it up to the forum for any similar experiences and solutions with the switchblade. Adding lowers? Going with a smaller screen, like the shorty or deflector? There isn't much room to move it up and down - maybe 1/2 inch at most. Anything else?
Thanks in advance
D

loosen the clamps that hold them onto the fork tubes ,move the clamps all the way to the top ,them retighten them.
The screen can then be adjusted to various positions from vertical to laying back.
If you experiment you should get a setting that will send the air up and over your head and leaving your chest area free from wind.
Cheers.

Hi Steve,
Sorry to be dense, but how do you adjust the rake on a Switchblade 2-up? Neither the fork mount attachment points nor the screen brackets are adjustable, that I can see.

The normal switchblade mounting kit allows for the screen to be snapped out easily if you wish to change it to another, where it clips into the cushion spools.
The clamps that hold the mounting kit can be loosened a little and you can slide them up and down the fork tubes to a position that suits you.
Sorry about the adjustment back and forwards on the 2up,(Can only be done on the deflector series that I have).
