Iv posted the odd post recently and noticed a few of the guys saying hi and wondering where iv been, rather than take up room on a post i though id start one,

im still around, most importantly the bike is in the Garrage, the last 18 months have been massive change to my life, new baby, lost the business due to the recession, all due to the companies i worked for going under and not paying me, i then got left in the shit but hay thats life, i was lucky enough to walk into a job straight away, reasonable money, not what i was earning working for my self but i'm lucky to be employed, we kept the house, the car and the bike so i did not come out to badly.

As for the bird it was finished ages back, i had as issue last summer with the temp sensor going, for the first half if this year id SORN'd it as i just did not have the time to ride, last month i insured and taxed it so she is back on the road, mind only been out for 3 short runs. got a strange noise from the fuel pump on priming at the moment, going to look into that this week, its like a loud squeak as it starts then once its picked up the fuel it sounds normal, running dry perhaps.

Anyhow this post was just a thanks to the guys who asked about me, i having a look from time to time on here, if something catches my eye ill post, this week iv been on holiday so iv had a bit of time to pass through.

It is tough working for your self. 22 years doing it now and still fucks me off sometimes. Must be hard to go and work for someone else. Good to hear your ok though. Your posts are allways massively informative and very welcome. Glad to see your still looking over us novices.

Hey, mad, glad to see you back.

Job market sucks. I've been underemployed for awhile, but just picked up a new FT gig. Nice to be employed, but it sucks to work.

We can all cross our fingers that our economies improve, but I fear we are seeing a new normal.

At least you Brits have a stellar motorcycle company
