The 2013 Storm now has a matt graphite (dark grey) version. I saw one at my local dealers today and I got semi hard. The photo doesn't do it justice. It is so much hornier in the flesh.

I've seen one first hand as well.... looks soooo much better than the all black (gloss or flat) in my opinion. Now if they just got rid of the fugly twin headlights I might well be tempted. well, in theory at least.

I prefer this to the black storm but I'm with Thatch on the headlights, should have left them on the speedtriple.

I almost ordered this one earlier on. But I just like the blue and white so much I asked if they would swap my tins for the grey and put my single headlamp on it - which they would. But then I got to thinking I would just have the bike I have now and £5500 less in my pocket. All for 100cc. So its the big bore and another bike instead.

...yes and the Storm is for big boys Mat

This one is nice in the flesh, and the Storm's twin headlamps is twice as good as one in my neck of the woods.

Mine might be getting a lick of custom paint this winter.

if it's not a real woody then it's not true love!

You can't see the color when your riding them anyway .......

I should have waited to get the storm. I love my Storm but hate black paint. Oh well, that is a great color.

grey is for squirrels
or used as an undercoat

black is for men.

authorative and powerful, true primordial void
( no wonder cars shift aside promptly, who wants that approaching menacingly fast upon them, worse than the reaper)
it is mysterious evoking possibility and potential

colours are for women.

twin lights, love em
like the powerfully emanating eyes of Thor.

VERY nice. I too, am not a fan of the duel headlights, but it wouldn't be tough to swap them out for a single one from the 1600!

I looked for months at the two black options. To me the gloss looked better in the flesh than photos and the Matt looked better in photos than in the flesh.
When the Graphite became available my problem was solved, so I bought one. Picked it up last Friday and I couldn't be happier with colour.

Hi Smitty, welcome to the Forum, and welcome to the Thunderbird brotherhood . Check out the Rides & Flocking thread for the ride to Tottenham coming up in a couple of weeks and also the 2013 Aussie Flocking to Walcha in March. You're welcome to join in.

Cheers, Max
