No word yet from triumph, but the rep told the service manager that they have not heard of the bags sagging on top. Really? I thought it was nearly every pair had this issue and they even changed the support structure?
Waiting to see what they say.

Good plan Hogey, useful to see what degree of droop is acceptable as a warranty claim. Look forward to seeing your pics.
Glad to hear you've been looked after by Triumph.

The new bags have larger velcro on the ends but the same support structure inside the top covers. As a matter of fact, on one bag one of the "support" strips isn't even touching the top cover! It's still sticky but not attached. They did away with the snaps on each end now. I showed the guy what the issue is and ha said "so, you don't want them?" ... I told him I'd see him in a couple months for a new set. These will definitely do the same damn thing. I will try to get my pics onto a real PC, not my iPad to send them to this site. I'm so disappointed.

Error: Unable to convert character set 'windows-1253'. ErrorNo: 5961 CSP Page: /csp/Thunderbird/Upload.csp Namespace: THUNDERBIRD Class: csp.upload
but, there are pics of them in my archive if your interested. They are the ones sent to replace the bags with the wire around the top. Overall mine are better IMO but the top is less substantial and is going to sag before too long.....already showing signs. The supports in the top of mine are also still sticky and don't seem to serve too much of a purpose. Think I'm going to try having the top supports sewn in if I can find a good tack shop.
I did find my original post, you can google it.

There was a small glitch affecting only the pictures section after the final upgrade yesterday (thankfully the only one) ... it's ok now.

I plan on calling triumph on Monday. I don't want to deal with trying to get bags again especially with my warranty ending in march. I really thought they may have done some thing to stop the infamous sag. I'm wondering if this was a set of bags this dealer had "laying around" and was told to just swap them out because there was very little wait time. I think I was just waiting for the ok to do the switch, not for the parts to arrive from the distribution center.
