Hi All,

I was shopping for some saddlebag liners and did not come up with any for the stock Triumph wavy top bags. Has anyone purchased some that fit well? If so what brand. I'm away from the bike for 6 weeks or so longer so I can't measure them. If someone has the bags and could post a measurement I think I could come up with some from Cruiser Customizing. They are handy when you check in to a motel and you can just bring the bags right in with you.

Best

I have a brand new pair of liners, beautifully made, from the original Rocket III, but I have no idea if they will fit.

Are they for the hard bags or the leather ones? Want to part with them?

Hi Capt T,

I just bought a pair of Streetline inner bags fron Hein Gericke in their UK closing down sale for £12 the pair after a 30% knockdown, so not expensive. Not the handiest shop for you in the US I know, and not ideal for me either now since my branch has closed, but they still trade in Europe and do mail order.

Haven't used them in anger yet, but I checked them in the OEM saddlebags before I bought them and they were about the right length breadth and depth, and look like they'll do the job. Sort of a heavyish nylon, backed for water resistence, and with top zips and carry handles. Soft enough to mould around the odd inside shape of the bags and about the size and shape of a brief case. One of those filled with mostly squidgy stuff should just about maximise the available space. Ought to be good for normal leisure use for all the socks, and teeshirts you can fit in the panniers, but I doubt they'd last long filled with spanners!

Their uk website is www.hein-gericke.co.uk. Might not be the answer for you, but it shows there's something out there and might reassure you that your search is not futile.

Good luck.

Hi Capt T, check out Fast Eddy's site for the Harper Chase bag liners. Best thing since sliced bread . I just bought an extra couple of them after having purchased two bags some time ago. They are waterproof - in fact they are air sealable if you use them as suggested. I now don't have to wrap everything in plastic bags if there is a threat of rain .

Cheers, Max

Good tip, thanks, what size did fit best in the OEM bags? My bags are not water proof mainly from the stitching I did to sew the reinforcement to the top lid at a boot repair shop.

Eddy has been great place to buy from. Amazing service. I have to give him a plug here.

Eddy's the greatest , as many here have attested to. I believe that there is just the one size in the Chase Harper bags but that isn't a problem as they are a reasonable size and pack down well. I got the second set to help segregate items.
