Does anyone out there know where you can get a set of decent clutch and brake levers for the T/bird? I have found the one's on my storm knock when you go over bumpy roads.
It would be nice to get a black pair of levers ,i have tried looking for some but no joy as yet.

It depends on what you call "decent". Stock levers are of good quality. If your problem is the color, just anodize them.
If the problem is ergonomics, I'm working on a set of OEM adjustable Yamaha FZ1 levers to make them fit. It would take time, though.
There are no other alternatives :(
Cheers!

Yeah, I've been looking for adjustable levers for a long time and so far nothing fits. I've no idea why the bird doesn't share levers with the rocket at least ... ah well.

Non-exsistant but you can either shim them or tighten them up. I tigntened mine up and no rattle.

There's a bushing in there that wears, right along with the hole in the lever itself where the bushing fits into. They must be removed and greased periodically.I just got a new lever and bushing under waramtee because they were so loose.I can't remember whether the lever rattled or not but I'm sure it did. My clutch lever vibrates under low RPM w/ load, or bumpy roads. Stealer "attempted" to tighten, but didn't fix it. After my long weekend (1200 miles planned, starting TONIGHT), gonna see what I can do myself. Haven't found any aftermarket options either. Would love adjustables....cuz it's a reach for my average size hands.

I'll jump on this bandwagon. Would really appreciate some nice black anodized adjustable and more ergonomic levers for the Storm. My stock ones are too loose (as mentioned above) and could really be a little smaller in width for my taste. Just thought I'd chime in to show interest but I really have no alternatives either at this point.

Yup. Vibration in clutch lever as well. It shakes up and down like the housing is too large for th lever. I'd like to have smaller ones for my average hands too.

Wow! They "say" they fit. Give it a go, and there will probably be a boat load that jumps on the wagon if you confirm fitment. Hell, FastEddy would probably source them for us.

Then Thatchie can grab the gold ones to carry his theme further!

I'm quite skeptical about this . There are a number of guys looking for this for some time now and they say that they fit all these Triumph models , I'm sure some one would have swapped them in the first week.

Worth a try for 40 bucks. They can be returned.

i hope they do fit but i know for sure that the rocket ones and street triple, speed triple are not the same as the thunderbirds levers?
