I bought a set from a member on here and less than a month later, sagging like an old lady's fun bags....

Any pics and remedies that you have performed?

I haven't done anything with mine yet, I will take them to a shoe repair or leather shop sometime to see if they can do anything.

When you say "SAGGING" are you talkin about the tops or covers or are you talking about the bag itself leaning in towards the back wheel???? Dave!!!

The plastic liner coming loose is what causes the sagging so I took mine to a shoe repair place and they suggested that I pull the plastic lid loose and use Shoe Goo to reattach the liner to the leather lid. So I figured nothing to loose so I tried it and it worked pretty well. What I did was to pull the plastic loose from the leather lid and then coat the whole area with Shoe Goo. I then used a couple of two by fours cut to the lid length with 35# weights placed on top of the leather / plastic to hold the two togather for 24 hours. All and all it worked pretty well. Going on 3 months and the fix seems to be holding up.

I tried gluing the plastic/cardboard liner to the bottom of the lids with negative results. It worked for a short time but the glue I used didn't hold for very long, hence I was right back to the sag again. In the meantime, what I've been doing is using several rags, bunched up,and placed on top of my cargo and directly below the sag so when the lid is closed,it pushes up on the lid.Atleast the bag lids don't look too bad now. I used Goop a sneaker repair and stuck dive weights on top for 24 hours. Worked great for a day then popped loose. I then took them to a shoe repair and the plastic insert was stitched to the top with a big X and on the edges. It looks pretty good but not quite right. These fracking bags and the rotten wheels give me the only negatives to the 'Bird.

On the positive side they fit the bad better than anything else and my wife loves them. They are the worst looking bag out there due to the sagging. I got mine replaced under warranty and got the same BS.

Someone on the rocket III site used metal duct and cut it to fit, then gorilla glued it in place. I may have to try that. I don't know if mine is different but my bags have two small plastic strips that support the top, not a large plastic square.

I am on a 3rd set of bags under warranty. The latest iteration has a leather strap (wide) sewed over the plastic liner to keep it in place. I, however built an aluminum frame out of thin flat stock (1/16") to form a support structure underneath the lid. The support structure is attached to the lid. I will provide pictures shortly. This works really well and the lid has not collapsed. Lowes provided the flat stock and the rivets.

Go to a plastic surgeon and get them lifted, I thought you were good at that in the good old USA
