I think I know the answer but I'll ask the question anyway. Is it possible to buy parts of the pad separately, or do I need to shell out £90 to buy a new pad? Whilst riding round the Dent area, with my tent strapped to the sissy bar, a bungee cord put a small hole in the back of the detachable rear section of the pad. It's a tiny hole but it looks huge to me, so I'm going to need to get it fixed.

You can try a vinyl repair kit, I think auto parts stores usually have them. I did this on a Mustang seat I had, it will still show but at least it won't be as bad and will close it up.

There are a few franchises that do vinyl repairs, they go around restaurants and pubs.

They may not be too expensive, might be worth checking out.

Sounds like a "reason" to get some custom seat/pad stitching done. Recover the whole lot with a color/design to set you apart. Or check out E-bay. Been a lot of 2nd hand stuff lately...at least US side.
