New oil after rebuilt forks (Hagon springs and bushings).

I don't believe a plug is at the lowest point of the fork so there'll be sludge. Anyway add a plug if it's beneficial to you.

Wait, WHAT?! You didn't powder coat the upper forks?
I haven't been this disappointed since learning there's no tooth fairy.

BTW, just between you and me, guess who developed the tiniest wee-little chirp.
Don't tell Dave, but LH adjuster was off by a quarter-turn. Not surprised, seems like rear wheel has to settle in with a ride before alignment stays put. Back on the jack for last fine tune. Remember when guys were using wax and vegetable oil on their belts?

If you look at this mod from Kim I think it's pretty clear that the drain is at the very bottom, he allowed it to be in the 6mm clearance section at the very bottom.

Anyway the mod is useful but not bees knees imo

You should look at the other photos, one clearly shows the hole at the bottom . Also if you read Kim's descriptions he says, as I did, that the hole is in the section below where the lower bush sits.
