I sourced these chrome nut covers that I kinda think dress up the rear pulley mounting nuts nicely. Being only new here I wasn't sure if these have been covered before in a previous thread so please forgive me if this is old news to everyone. Having just submitted the post I noticed that you can also see the small chrome cover that sits inside the shock mount bolts as well. Bling it on!

TB, the chrome dresser covers are commonly called Toppers and I bought mine from a local motorcycle accessories shop which means he deals in Harleys for 99.99% of the time. However, the Toppers work for both imperial and metric sizes so the Bird was no problem. They come in 2 types like belly buttons in that they have innies and outies. Innies fit into the centre hex in allen type screw bolt heads while outies cover the out edges of a typical bolt head. I went to fit my bike out with what I thought may have been 10 - 12 of the things and ended up fitting 47 of them all up or rather, so far. But now they are fitted in place I was wondering how I ever lived without them.

Here's a site I found while looking for the same thing ........ haven't ordered from them so don't know what their turn around time is.

It's Harley-centric but have so many that they should be able to supply.

Hey Zolti,

I have put a few hundred kilometres on the bike at sustained highway speeds of 110 - 120kph with the Toppers in place on the rear pulley and so far so good. I gave them all a tweak to see how they were doing the other day and they all still felt firm with no discernible movement what so ever. The Toppers I used came in a set of 10 which was quite handy being there are 5 needed for the rear of the bike so there are enough for a second set if needed or you can split a set with a mate.
