Ok what do I need?

Oval mirrors pehaps
I have more footwear than Imelda Marcos so no boots..
Jackets, got more fancy jackets than Liberace....
and more t shirts than your average Bangalore sweatshop can produce in a decade....
Bling, yes more bling...maybe that luggage rack that Birdy has, yes that must qualify as a must have.

Yes, I will be at A1 buying something I don't need.

BTW they looked after me this week again...top marks to Jeff, Adam, Colin, Scott, Darren and the boys!!

6ollocks - i'm away all weekend. Mrs1600 wants another jacket so that would have been a good move. But I always get a good discount at A1 anyway so not too much lost.

I might buy you a beer for that next week end. That would be a 'Yorkshire might' of course.

it isnt 20% off top price

its take off vat
then take off 20%
then add vat

thats how they should do it.
otherwise you aint getting the full 20%
if they dont question it

Price inc VAT is £620 so 20% off is £496 - saving of £124

Price ex VAT is £516.67 - less 20% is £413.34 plus the VAT = £496 still saving of £124!

If the figure was a lot larger then then the few tenths would add up but on this small figure it makes no difference

Should have read the ad more closely.

Went to Swindon Triumph yesterday (Sunday) and they were closed, the special offer weekend is subject to normal opening hours.

Left too too late to go on to Knotts in Stratford, for their opening party.

On the other hand, reading the above post, it probably save me a load of dosh.

Lionel, if you come over to Performance Triumph Swindon this coming Saturday, they are having an "Open House" day with lots of offers etc:

Link

I shall be there all day, as we are running the demo rides for them - it's a hard life, having to ride their bikes, on their insurance, using their fuel.

Still somebody has to do it.

There is a few of us coming from Brid so will probs see every one at Dent. Trying to organise on a Sat morning is not my thing so things will go tits up. Just going to get on bike and see where I end up.

sounds like a good plan.

if we get there early we might flash by kendal, a lake or two and devils bridge. however if the lass's back is niggly its straight to Dent
