I mention to the Dealer at the 500 mile service that I noticed some oil/water vapor like, on the right side of the brake cover, but I was told not to worry, Tbirds sweat a little...... Well it was not sweat when I took the bike to the dealer and oil was dripping.... It has been 5 days and the Tbird still in the shop, a craked gear position sensor, the part was ordered, now just waiting. I was wonderin if anyone had the same problem, I just hope that once this is fixed I can really enjoy riding my Thunderbird.

Are you talking about the rear brake fluid container? Just where did you see the offending oil sweat?

I looked at the gear sensor switch and it looked like the wires coming from the switch were making the oil run along the base of the crank case.... Does anybody know where on the engine is the gear position sensor switch attached?

Ah, the sensor is below the primary belt pully. There is an o-ring that was probably mis-installed.
