I originally shot in 720p @ 60 fps due to size. I shrunk it down a little bit to upload to You Tube. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm betting right where the music comes in is where the wind noise got too much for your camera's mic? Just wondering...

I'm also betting you'll get a fair amount of praise from Daz for your use of some Richie Blackmore and Deep Purple as a soundtrack.

LOL! The windnoise never entered into it. I just didn't want it to liven it up a little. I wasn't planning on narrating or anything, and there was relatively little windnoise behind the mid-size screen due to positioning. Yeah, most people my age and younger haven't heard of either Blackmoor or Deep Purple.

Could well be, boss!!! Lemme know next time you're in the area. I've only seen one other T'Bird on the road and we always seem to be going in opposite directions.

Well, truth is I DID own machine head when i was a young'n, and i STILL like some heavier stuff. But not nearly as much as I did then and now my tastes run a lot less raucous. But it was nice hearing highway star for the first time in years. I really liked that tune as a grasshopper.

I haven't pulled out my old vinyl in years, but I bet I still have a copy of Machine Head.

I bowl on a classic rock league and they play DP frequently

Oh... I just assumed you were a Blackmore fan after your "Stratocaster is harder to play" comments in that music video thread. My bad!

BTW Nars,

I'm truly interested in seeing some footage from your new cam. Make sure you post some stuff. It will no doubt be incredible footage, but I wonder how much memory the raw video takes.

Well, call me a techno-geek, but I'll be traveling with my laptop and my external media storage drive, so I can dump the SD card daily. Still, yes, the raw footage will be enormous, but I'll try to edit and render little vids as I travel and upload to YouTube. Hopefully, I can then put together a cooler, longer version when I get home.

Video not working for me.

Possibly YouTube removed it due to the Deep Purple soundtrack?

Oh, yes, I had a copy of Deep Purple in Rock, on 8 Track!

Yeah, sorry. You Tube was givin me shit about EMI owning the rights to the song. I might delete the soundtrack and just sing the song off-key while my pitbull howls just to be sarcastic and re-post it. Apparently fair use copyright extends the use of any copyrighted songs out to 99 years.

YouTube's enforcement for copyright issues are SO spotty... some vids get caught right away while others go right on through.
