Autumn means the hot weather is easing a little (around 30c today) so I hit the Indian Ocean Road. Not a patch on Victorias "Great Ocean Road" but still good. About a 600km round trip.
After the bike asked the question; "Does my arse look fat in these?" and the answer was yes the panniers had to go. Looks much cleaner without them. They'll be gathering dust in the shed until a long trip is on.
Yes, we have been having a drought for a few years. Why do you ask?
As the bike loosens up a little I'm more impressed with the power than I was initialy. She gets up and runs hard in the lower gears with a very nice note from the pipes as the revs rise. I rode a kawasaki VN the other day and when it came to power and handling there was no comparison. VN also had very loud pipes. I might have liked them a few years ago but now I prefer the Triumph letting me know its working but not trying to perforate my eardrums.

Damn that is a sweet paint job Tworuna. The bike looks really good. I had Triumph lovers come out of the woodwork on my ride today. They are going to be all over you with a bike that looks as good as that.
Summer here just gets way too hot to ride. The drought just keeps on going and we see 50c days out at my work. Even if we don't get rain, riding weather is here at last
