The reason for this is when I am riding my thunderbird I notice that when I cross rail road tracks or a nice bump in the road it feels like my seat it kicking me in the butt, trying to throw me forward. Nothing violent but I am hoping to find something to smooth out my ride and maybe stiffen her up in the turns. Any input would be great

Dave!!!

3 or 4 is good 2up combined weight 25 st
3 for me 1 up and i am about normal weight for 6' is too firm the back end is skittish and feels slippery, too firm.
tried several combinations for the country roads and nothing stops it from bouncing. bottoming and iritating me.
the roads are all to dissimilar for us to give advice and settings, you have to ride the roads and test out the settings for yourself
i think a specialist shock (olins. wilbur ect) might be the solution
