Hi, My bird that too me is three weeks old, was in fact 8 months old when I picked her up, pre-registered low mileage, however now that I'm getting to know my way around the bike, there are a few annoying things that some advise may help, firstly the short tors have fine polish scratches on them and I was wondering if there was anything out there that would/could remove them, have tried solvol autosol to no effect, also the cable clamps on the twin T bars are loose and marking the bars, there are as tight as can be. My right hand header has turned blue, but thats being changed under warranty, tear drop mirrors vibrate bad,but are tight. going in for it's 500 mile service in two weeks.

2013 Matt Graphite Storm, short tors, long haul seats, tear drop mirrors.satin black swing arm covers, satin black front caliper covers, satin black rack, Dart matrix screen.

2010 white-Blue-Red Bird, Chrome wheels, Twin T handlebars, Chrome Forks, Short Tors.
Summer Screen, Chrome rear pulley,Chrome Radcover.front dresser bars, chrome caliper covers,Alarm, Long Haul Seats.

solvol scratches chrome, unless you use the chrome solvol. best to wash and wax

polishing with solvol wont take scratches out

try belgom chrome polish or mer wax to protect chrome

i doubt you will get the scratches out as you will have to remove the surrounding chrome to the bottom level of the deepest scratch, not recommended
use the above and live with the scratches is my recommend

The cable clamps on my, and others, tbars are loose like that to. Get some foam tape and apply it to the inside of the clamps. That will hold them in place.

if the scratches were there when you bought the bike ask the dealer what they use to polish the pipes, it they say solvol or similar get them to replace the pipes
