I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the stock backrest - unless you guys can recommend a better one that is removable. By better I mean more comfortable, I don't intend to leave it on at all - most of the time I'm solo - but when the woman wants to tag along I like the option of being to pop one on. The factory looks tallest / most comfortable of the removable ones I've seen.
As for the bags, as said, I've found those I think - what I'm wondering about is the bracket. Again, these will rarely be on. So I'm less concerned about what the brackets look like with the bags on the bike, what I'm curious about (and been having trouble finding pictures of) is what they look like with the bags off the bike. When both are removed am I going to have 6" studs sticking out both sides of my solo setup?
Thanks in advance guys!

New backrest brackets You may want to consider getting a set of Easy Brackets for your bags, too. I believe Matt (or someone) is devising a way to make both the Easy Bracket and the backrest work together and have them both easily-removable. This right, guys?

jnance50 and welcome...
Well - those Easy Bracket fittings are REALLY nice! I see your concern about having 'studs' stuck out - but in all honesty, they don't stick out too much and don't really look like an eye sore! In fact - it's GOOD to have them for those days you go out for that little 'thing' - then you can strap the 'thing' down with bungee cord using these little Easy Bracket studs!
