On my Blue/White Thunderbird, easy to do & you can go to triumphinformation.com for step by step directions on the install. Just enter the part#. I think it looks great but for some reason the white stripe on the cowl doesn't line up perfectly with the stripe on the fender, it seems off center. I even noticed the existing headlight housing was off center too a few weeks after I bought the bike and wondering if it is a assembly issue overseas or at the dealer? Maybe the bike had fell over & the dealer repaired it. I wish I had noticed it when I bought the bike. The handlebars & mirrors are not out of alignment/bent, just the headlight housing is. When I did the swap I couldn't see any bending to the mounting bracket.
Nobody else will notice it, but I do. Any thoughts?

I thought it was wrong when I did it . I then mentioned it to my brother who had the garage to fit his and he said his was the same. I then realised that it had to be this way as the headlight needs to tilt away from the opposing drivers to stop them getting glare as you come towards them.

So yes its normal after I checked it with the garage too.

That would make sense considering in england you drive on the opposite side of the road. Mine is off center and positioned at a slight left angle, here in the U.S. the light would be aiming more toward a driver coming the other way, but in england it would be the opposite & going away from drivers. There is a 1/4" difference in space between the left & right side of the cowl and the forks.
