Now then....

Although I don't live there anymore, Yorkshire is still of interest to me! Which is why I always have my radar-scanners tuned in - which has proven to be a good thing... Because:

The Manor Cafe - Bellerby, North Yorkshire!

TMC says:
new purpose built bikers cafe in the Yorkshire Dales. Located just outside Bellerby, near Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With hundreds of miles of motorcycle touring roads on our doorstep, the Manor Cafe is the ideal place to meet and eat when visiting the Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire.

We have already had several enquiries from Motorcycle groups looking forward to visiting the Manor. If you're organising a group (10 or more) ride-out to the Manor, please e-mail us and let us know when you're coming. We want to make sure you get the most from your visit. We look forward to hearing form you and seeing you all at 'The Manor' in 2011.

Located between the A1 at Catterick & Richmond and the M6 at Devils Bridge. A perfect stop off point on ride-outs in the Yorkshire Dales National Park area around Hawes, Leyburn, Bedale and Reeth in North Yorkshire. Built with bikers in mind with helmet racks, plenty of off-road parking for motorbikes and full disabled access, the Manor Cafe is the ideal location to start your Dales adventures. Tank bag route cards will be available free to customers detailing circular ride-out routes around the area. HD videos showing highlights of the routes will be available on-line via this website and YouTube. Visitors will be able to upload photographs of their ride-outs to our photograph gallery and we will be holding competitions and special events throughout the season - win Manor merchandise and Rolling Road sessions with our partners at Automoto Racing.

The Manor has ample off-road parking for motorcycles and cars, We will be serving locally sourced, no frills, good honest food and drink. Indoor and outdoor seating areas located in a converted Manor House Farm Courtyard with stunning views of Wensleydale. The Manor will be THE new place to meet other bikers, hold club ride-outs and meetings or simply a stop-off point on your ride in the Dales.

It'll be opening for EASTER, 2011!

So those that make it for a ride out - PLEASE remember to take pictures and give a write up about it!

Apoligies if done before, but as a newbie, hoping I dont get shot down in flames, but reading this gave me the idea of maybe a serperate thread on" biker cafes around the Uk", always nice to know where to get a cuppa and bacon butty, I know you can find them listed in mags but nothing better then first hand experience...

Heeeeeey!

I will never for give MCN for that recommendation - and you and Mat will never let me forget it (and I don't blame you).

Anyway - back to the cafe. I see they have already set themselves up with merchandice t-shirts, caps, mugs etc (similar style to ACE Cafe) and they aren't even open yet

The place won't be able to call itself properly open till the Tbirds have filled the bike park. Would be some cool ride to meet up with other birds to ride to this.

On the Sunday we get back from our European Tour 3200 miles so might be saddle sore, but I'd love to join in.
If I can get out I will.

Don't forget it's TT fortnight 30th May - 11th April. Although last year I only saw one other (Swiss) Tbird, and that was on the ferry back.
