Was curious about the quality of accessories from Pure Triumph. Particularly the quality of chrome, looking at the engine crash bars (to start, lol) and wanted opinions of those who have them. Also, are there any other dealers available for a discounted price? I know with my Venture I've been getting Star parts cheaper than factory and was wondering if anyone did the same with Triumph parts.
Thanks,
Sam

got the bars on mine. i go by the polishing marks & there aren't any on my pair which is what you want
pure triumph is a dealer network well they got 3 branches.

not sure what you mean but it'll be genuine triumph accessories. the birmingham & wellingborough branch are the best of the 3. which is a shame seeing as my local is crap

the replacement horn isn't as good as the original need to make up a new bracket for the originalhorn

My bars have started to get a bit rusty but I have to say I'm about 100 yards from the Atlantic Ocean with the bike under cover. That said any mild rust has come right off and the front and rear bars look great. The rust was starting on the very bottom of the bars where the metal is rough and not smooth and shiny. I was able to remove it with a tooth brush and some Flitz metal polish. I also have the SE-I fitted both the crummy horn they give with the front "dresser bar" and the stock horn-both sound pretty good together. Your most likely going to deal with bag sag as well. I stitched mine after sending back the first set via my dealer in Gainesville, FL. The new ones might be Vinyl not leather. I just did a spill test and the water ran right off but the inside looks like suede? I don't know squat about leather I guess. Not much more to add with the SE as it seems to come with a lot. A radar detector is a good addition. The Pure Triumph store is located in Fort Lauderdale with a nice showroom. It's got half Triumph and half Ducati-a great place to look as some of the acessories mounted on the wall as well as some expensive Triumph riding clothes. Great folks work there and I got some excellent service even though I did not buy a bike from them.

Sam, these guys are just another dealership, so have the same OEM Thunderbird accessories as all the other dealers. As Zolti mentioned, visit MADSS ~ For some reason, Chris Notte (the owner/operator) has pulled down some of the Triumph inventory, but he still has it all... and for a lot less than the dealers. Just either call or email him. Info below...

And yes... DO mention you heard about MADSS on this forum. You may get a better quote... he's been VERY good to me on my recent orders.

As mentioned above, try MADSS. I got the crash bars from them and Chris was good to deal with. The bars arrived last week, installed them on the weekend and the quality looks good. (Except for that crappy horn). Price was good too, better than anywhere else.

4thefish, Did you stitch the bags or have a shop do them? It looks like an excellent solution to the bag sag problem. If my new bags start to sag, I'll want to do the same. Please advise.
