I'm one of the guys with shorter legs and I had to rotate them up a ways to get the perfect fit for me. A small inconvenience now is that for the shift lever to be in the best position for me it would really be nice if the arm was about an inch longer. It's perfect for downshifting but to upshift I have to slide my foot back and then tip my toe down and slide it up under the shifter. Is there any simple way to put an extender of some kind on it? or might I find a longer arm somewhere? of just get used to it.

I only put a very small amount of pressure on the lever but it was enough to disengage the gear. If it were longer I would be more comfortable.
I would also like to extend the Brake lever. The boots I ride with don't fit under it unless I angle my whole foot forward so my toes point straight ahead. I have to angle my foot outward so I'm not riding the brake.
The only other option would be the floorboards but I'm not to that point yet.

I'ts on a splined shaft, try removing it and rotate it up then reinstall it. Should help on the upshift, downshift well mabey. 5 min. tops i'ts worth a try.

Thanks. Yes I've tried that but it seems to be an either/or situation. If I rotate it up, it's a little too high and I have to lift my foot up off the peg to downshift. Guess I just have to decide if I'd rather have to move my foot off the peg on the upshift or the downshift (and I've made more difficult adjustments in my life).
