.....Instead of 5 pages of Tbird accessories they now have just over 1 page. Dammit ! Oh well, at least i got the triple clamps B4 they did. But i was thinking about ordering the chrome pulley and i see it went up $20. I knew it was too good to last. Hope the free shipping isn't next to go.

Yeah I know what you mean, I went to order a couple of parts and they were gone from the list. 5 pages to 2 is quite the cull

Chris@MADSS has got everything he had before (don't know why he pulled it from the site, though)... you just have to email him for the quote: info@madss.com ~ no biggie.

Thats odd. I wonder if he pulled all the things not stocked and is only leaving the stocked items up. I can't think of anything else that makes sense.

As for painting it, nope my cup of tea in the least. I love the chromed one and black doesn't look good to me. I much prefer chrome where it works, and to me it works fabulous on the pulley. For those wanting to blacken it just to get rid of the hideous grey and are talking about stripping it, i would say paint over it because the texture will make it look more factory plus make the paint stick worlds better if you are doing it yourself with cans. A pulley with paint chips in it would look horrible, and with the pulley spinning it will take it's lumps to be sure when rocks catch it. Also note that if you strip it and the surface is smooth you can polish it or do what i think fab did and have it coated in that faux chrome finish. I believe it's ceramic finish if i recall. Tho i would strongly recommend not finishing over the tooth surface because it's a special coating that is supposed to make belts last much longer.

I was thinking of taking that pulley and machining across the face of it to get rid of the grey cast finish but leaving the cast finish in sides of the web/stokes and painting those black. I think that it would pretty sharp.

Hey guys Chris @ MADSS.com here. We are experiencing some issues with the latest Triumph update to the 2011 Accessory Catalogs where many accessories are missing. We are currently working with Triumph to get this corrected and are hoping we will be back to normal shortly.

In the mean time feel free to contact me at info@madss.com or 1-866-623-7726 and I can get you the price and availability. As for the prices going up I am not sure what you are referring to as I haven't found any price changes. Please email me with items in question and I will look into it.

Ok, i don't know why someone there did it, but trust me, the prices i looked at WERE up but are now back down. I could give you a few examples but the best one would be the chrome pulley which was $382 and went up to $404. I know because i went to buy it the day i posted this thread and held off because i was a bit taken aback after seeing it went up .Maybe it was someone else and you didn't know about it, but i'm not a drug addict and i wasn't hallucinating....It was $404 and is now back down to $384. I bought the chrome triple clamps upper and lower from you a few weeks ago. I'm the one who asked if they came with the bearings. They look great BTW. I will probably still be buying the pulley but i'm going to wait till i'm ready for a rear tire because i don't need it till then and i just spent a ton on some other things.

Alright must have been some type of glitch associated with the upload of the new catalogs as I am the only one who takes care of MADSS.

Needless to say atleast the prices are back to normal hopefully I can get Triumph to get the rest of the catalogs updated.
