Many of you may be members already but I have recently joined having attended one or two events over the years. I must say for £17.50 you get a cracking monthly magazine (recently reformated in A4) plus one or two other benefits. On the cover of this months Nacelle Magazine is the T'Bird Storm - great shot. It accommodates both Meridian and Hinkley models and as I like both it is read cover to cover. There is a cracking article on the Tunderbird 6T plus more besides.

They have quite a few branches throughout the UK and associates in other counrties.

If you are interested....

I have been thinking about joining my local group for a while, but pure laziness on my part haven't got round to it yet.

What makes the laziness worse is according to the website they meet in the pub at the end of my road every Wednesday night, so really I have no excuse.

Seems like a great excuse to me!

Stroll down the street for a couple of beers and discuss Trumpets on Wednesday nights is all the excuses I need.

Mine too however there are several rideouts/rallies/Treffens and I'm hoping to make one or two.

The £17.50 is worth it for the magazine subsription alone me thinks.

But they want an extra £1.75 for joining online and they sneak the extra on at the end of the joining process. That's almost the cost of a pint.

Have you ever tried to buy a ticket for Ryanair - £19.99 advertised ended up paying £299.99 with all the "extras"!!!!

The answer to your question is stick a cheque and the form in the post. Then pop down the pub for a half a pint of IPA and a packet of peanuts and chat up the barmaid with the money you saved.

Well if you think 40 miles is too far then what would you think it's like for me - 0ver 450 miles!!!

ANYWAY - Just joined and ordered a load of patches, badges, stickers and two of those machine plate thingies!
