It must have been damn cold a few times as the lcd went tits up and one turn over the bike made some mad noises and took two atempts . All fine now though . The bang noise was a little worrying though when -8 one day lol.
Nice to get out agian though . I took her for a burn during the mad wind and almost ripped my head off at 90 mph . Must have been a cumalative 140 into the headwind . Got neck muscles like Mike Tyson now.

...and I thought you Geordie Boys were supposed to be tough!
Went to school on the 'Bird last night - 70 miles and I loved every minute of it. Got home at 10.30pm and the temp had dropped enough to make the roads interesting. The last 5 miles of single track, mud covered, deer skipping, pot hole infested, dark and frost covered roads were characher building.
Now that you got her fired up when are you free for a meet with the Yorkshire 'Birds?

Been riding the gud'ol Tiger the past weeks - but last Sunday I took the 'Bird out of the garage and fired her up!
I also fitted the OBDII transmitter and looked over things as they were warming up: - NO error codes - ALL systems nominal - Thermostat opened up - as always - at 104*C
After that I rode around the parking lot before backing her up back into the garage.

tough maybe, stuuuupid nah lol
these days i can afford to run a cage and a bike which means i can leave the bike for days when i dont have to worry (more than normal) about the stupidity of others around me on slippy roads they have little appreciation of.
so back to enjoyment, a meet sounds good certainly before dent. can i interest you in keilder? sarnie shop in newcastleton keilder north or apple pie in bellingham keilder south. mostly get out alternative w/es best on a real sunny day though.

a yorkshire lad spending money on wasted petrol rofl ;) controversially maybe but im not convinced the engine when stored for a couple of months needs the oil splashed about, maybe dispersment of fumes dunno. bro keeps his classic on acumens and speedy on optimas ( has alarm) faffs about running them too . . yawn but for me little weight off the tryes and thats it.
