Triumph lists some kind of paint codes. But, I was told by an auto painter, that these are
ingredient codes for Regulations. Can't use them to concoct the exact color. (WEIRD)

I have the Red and it is a multi-layer process. These auto guys have special optical computer gear
to get the color blend. Top of my tank read out, pure black, so that what I used to fix my ding.

Or, "Just pick a real paint code from your favorite auto color," he said. "We can match that."

The bike painter he brought from next door said, "Bah, just choose another color and paint it all."

It gets posted all the time. Nothing brilliant about just remembering it unfortunately.

Great find, Daz.

But which of those blues (and which white, for that matter) did they use on the Blue/White Bird?

Thanks,
Gonzo

They used the slow drying paint so they could match the speed of the bike.
