SE A1 7/29/10, only 2437 miles. It's okay though, I have a note. Severe rotator cuff injury (non-motorcycle), followed by severe infection in little toe, could not even get on riding boots for a couple of weeks, then a string of bad weather. That's okay, this too shall pass and I am back in the saddle again. Going to Gainesville, FL soon and then up to Bulls Gap TN to visit family. Best Triumph I ever rode!

Received - July 7, 2009
57xx (rear brake pads rplc), 6228(new rear tire, oil and filter, service items etc.), and after todays ride with Pappasgarage, and his better half to a show in Del Mar , total of 6283 miles.
---- Six months left on factory Warranty ----
Need to get some more miles on this bike.

Still enjoying and satisfied with the handling, power - especially (3200-4300) and overall performance of the bird. Minimal dealer required issues for first year model (1 of first 200 produced, and first in California 1600 Thunderbird.

Great Bike!

If there's a T-bird in the garage then your either sick, broke or missing the time of your life.
Get out and ride that Bird.

The Tbird arrived June 26, 2009 - Speedy was traded in June for a 2012 Bonnie T100.

Not size comparison, Hoops

I was just trying to gather some trending stats out of curiosity. This site represents a great sample size of 'Bird owners across 3 continents (well 4 if all of you from the UK and Ireland don't like being part of "the Continent" ), so I thought it would be an interesting exercise in statistics.

The milage is equal to the fun you have on your bike, if you have other issues your on your own!

LOL!!! - I know where you are coming from Linkdog, but I don't believe you can equate fun on your bike with mileage. I know an 82yr old still loving his speed twin & relishing every ride on it, but only covers maybe 500miles a year (max) - I also have a friend who has great fun on his bike with his wife....when the bike goes NOWHERE near a road....vertical motion only!
FUN does not always equate to MILEAGE

No offence intended my friend, not trying to denigrate what you are doing in any way/shape/form (& I am a Mathematician).
I guess I have been a 2-wheeler for nearly 40yrs, and I must have clocked up close to a mllion miles in that time......I guess I stopped keeping count after a while. I know that I did 32,800 miles in 2008...because my Insurance company SCREWED me for going over 30000.
I know I covered 12000 miles on an MZTS250 (2-stroke...luv 'em!!!) around Europe in 1976, taking in the Elephant Rally.

...but I don't really measure mileages. Life is short - Life is for fun - fun is my bike - counting miles is like counting years.....they happen, they go by,....but I don't want to think about it too deeply; we mark people, meetings & places on the journey - miles don't matter.........just enjoy!!

So Sisco, I do NOT wish to offend you in any way - Count away friend, but there is more to life than Stats!

Hey Hoops thats great 82 wow! And the verticle thing is neat but here in Florida it's mostly flat and straight so all we have are miles. sometimes a twist or two.
