Bro and I wandered into North city Triumph today to check up on out new forks that Triumph are replacing and just for a cup of coffee and a chat. Had a sit on the new Tiger but didnt take it out . Couldnt be bothered. Sat on the new Speed Tripple , Liked that a lot just the right size for me.
Checked the Tbars were in which they are and promtly bought new mirrors as well because it is more cost effective to have it all fitted at once lol. Thats my excuse anyway....
Always buy somethng when I go there its a drug..

I did sit on the Storm and tried out some T bars on another bird. Did fancy some new triumph boots but couldnt be bothered to try them on. We only went through to test my new heated gloves - but didn't need to turn them on cos it was bloody warm enough not to need them. Loved the red and white Thruxton - a lot.

Thinsulate inner and three heat settings on a switch on the throttle glove. setting 1 is boil in the bag, No2 is simmer and No3 is WTF. But works pretty good and fairly comfy (need breaking in). I wired them into my bike and the connecting wire I fastened into my winter jacket lining. Not too happy with all the wires but I much prefer them to heated grips. Just a pity it was a hot day with 8 deg C so couldn't give them a good test. That means I have to go out again tomorrow and see if it has cooled down any from todays sweltering heat.

I just got an on off switch with the Gerbing itll cost me another 40 quid for the variable controller. I have the conector poking out the top of the seat by the tank and run the glove wire in the arms of the jacket. Works ok but until you get power transfer via radio waves or something lol.

Dave!!!

we did yesterday, not buy that is, but we wernt rude, maybe
well i say we did, we sorta did, as they are having a tiger launch on thurs with 25% off the lass tried some stuff on, strutting around like yasmin la bon and then asked the guy to put them away till thurs. so its going to be a spend spend day and the longer we wait the more gets added to the list. i had a coffee, a must, sat on the storm and loved the bars hey thats some set up, decided which bits i like and which i didnt, perused the new black bonnies and laughed once again at the trade in value.
oh and we did poke and finger the tigers.
rumour of a bbq on thurs too.
