Geezus - what have you been shaggin'.

They tell me that the decat will fit with the TORs. Looks nice. I will ask my dealer how much additional power he could get me with a PCV dyno tune.

Check in the performance mods, dyno results thread. TarkMalbot put up a bunch of dyno results for a 1700 with TORs and cat bypass with a PCV. Looks like he got about 8 hp and 9 ft lbs or about plus 10% if I remember from 1 minute ago which I very well may not.

They are designed & supplied with bypass mate, you don't need to do anything but bolt them on & do 12 min tune...

The A/F Ratio with and without CAT was the same with the TOR tune so there is no need to re-map. It didn' t give much difference in power or torque though.
With a re-map you are correct that I got about 10% in every throttle position.

Kind of hard to understand this. You mean that you got the same a/f and power with and without the cat with the stock tune but you got 10% more power by adding fuel with the pcv with the cat bypass? I wonder If you could get 10% more power with a PCV remap leaving the cat in place?

Now it simply did not occur to me at the time but as circumstances would have it I had not parked the bike up in her usual position the night before due to some construction work going on.
I had backed the bike in to the courtyard and the rear bike was sitting about 2 feet away from the lounge room windows. Got on and as usual the subconscious stab at the throttle before gear selection. Next thing I know I have an wife with a very angry look on her face knocking on my helmet and pointing back towards the windows. Ah ha huge diagonal crack through the glass .
My face to the wife was n Shortly thereafter as I took off down the road I couldn't but help Stayintunes 1 : Window 0

I had a 2004 Bonneville with Stainless Pipes and loved the sound. How does that compare if on a Bird. I've gone to the EPCO site that makes the pipes and tried to locate a dealer that sells the Stainless. Anyone know how to buy a new set? RRM
