I was conecting the Gerbing wireing for my gloves today as I was bored and I pulled the rubber ring off the air filter as it just sort of came out . Is this the rubber your talking about to maybe open up the air flow?

Oh the gloves are incredibly warm wired straight to the bike .

If its the 'trim like' strip around the airbox ,eliptical sort of shape then thats the one. Or have you taken the strip off the actual airfilter. I took mine off when I put the Highflow filter in. It seems to give it a bit more grunt and a deeper tone when you give it a handfull. Also noticed it took away a lot of decel popping - although I quite liked the popping.

Good to hear the gloves work for you. After a ride out yesterday I am going to make these my next purchase.

Yeah cheers matt . Thats the kiddie. No idea if its made any difference as I just popped out to test the gloves tbh . Didnt push it, still damp and the road has loads of man hole covers.

Mecanical Im not lol.

Next on the list the jacket liner I think, this Gerbing stuff is the nuts.

Well I do have the HF filter so that probs made most of the difference. These things need trying on a dryer day. I did give it a bit but was with two other Birds (Bluenose and another mate) so didn't want to appear to be racing, also had Mrs1600 as pillion so could have been a bit dodgy what with all that global warming all over.

Not going to bother with the full jacket as I have just bought a Frank Tomas winter jobbie - not real cool looking or trendy but bloody warm. Takes half an hour to button, zip and strap up but worth it.

Oh Matt btw a bit of advice . Dont bother with the lithium batteries. Get the gloves and the loom for the battery even a dummy like me could fit that . It comes with ab O ring on the + and - wire so i cut off or inded bent off the top bit making a U shape so I didnt have to take the bolts off the battery . I just loosened them and slipped them in tightened up.

Sorry edit time.

Both the t5 and the hybred gloves come with the pack to make it work with the battery. so 135 quid. All I can say is , bargin!

I was at a Motorcycle show last month and saw a pair of Lee Parks Design deerskin gloves. Apparently they're really warm. Anyone have experience with these?

Thanks,

Hi
Welcome on. If you want a better response to your post you might be better starting a new topic. I have never seen the gloves but will have a look - sounds interesting.

Just been on that site. They look like a real comfy pair of gloves. I would get some just to get my own back on the Elk that chased me in Yellowstone, he was one big motherfu*ker - you would get a few nice pairs from him.

Thanks!

I actually have been on for a while, and have even submitted a few posts.

You probably saw that I posted on the other forum. I broke my collarbone last week and won't be riding for a few weeks, I think.

But I still go out and sit on my bike every day...Just to keep it company...

a stylish set of gloves for the balmy summer days, go nicely with a paisley silk scarf

cover them in oil, fill a glass of wine and rub down the lass for winter use
