As some know my wife was in the hospital from 22- 26th, she had been very ill and came close to dieing after complications from dental surgery that began a downward cascade of a number of serious issues resulting in kidney failure, aspiration pneumonia that resulted in a staph infection of her blood and three days of hallucinations and confusion which was the hardest for me, but I stayed with her. I didn't post but because of Face Book some of you wrote me personal e-mails and it was so encouraging and meant a great deal to me. I wanted to be sure I didn't miss anyone in saying thank you.

She is on the mend and at home now.

eddy

PS, if you were tasking me to do something the past week or prior to this please contact me again as I got a bit distracted and don't want to forget any projects I was doing for you.

Really great news Eddy. I've been following what has been going on but felt a bit beyond my place to say anything during this terribly personal time. I'm very pleased to hear that she is doing better and on the mend.

G'day Ed, Like thatch I have been watching but thought it best to leave the words of encouragement to those who know you a little better than I do.
I can't even imagine what the two of you went through and in all honesty, hope I never do!

So happy to hear that she is on the mend.

All the best to the both of you and your family.

Sorry you had to spend Christmas time going thru that...but at least she is doing better so you were able to get a "present" after all. I hope she continues to heal and that you can get back to normal.

It's times like these that makes us realize how fragile life is. When I had my heart attack (19 years ago) a friend sent me these words which I try to live by:

Life is short,
break the rules,
forgive quickly,
kiss slowly,
love truly,
laugh uncontrollably,
and never regret anything that made you smile.

Glad your wife is on the mend, everyone should have someone to stick by them during times of illness, you are to be commended.
