Some time ago my information window started to get a fade out in direct sunlight. It got to the point that I could not read much of anything. It would restore itself overnight parked up in the shed but fade away once back in the sun.

I had known of a company here in Brisbane,Qld, from my automotive days called Lionel Otto Instruments, been around forever looking after classic cars and bikes. Lionel has retired and the business now is run by John Robertson, seems like a good fella and knows his stuff. He quoted $330 to $ 440 which is fair considering a new one is $1085. I took it in, handed it over, John showed me another one in for the same thing. I got a call four days later, it was ready, price $363, so I was happy with that.

I have only been out once and it works perfectly, easily read, nice and clear. Nice to get good honest service.
