I'm asking for advice from all Aussie TBird owners (Victoria).

Where did you buy your Bird?

How did you find the dealer/salesman?

Would you recommend them?

After sales service?

Any advice would be appreciated

Pete

Hi scudbird , i'm not from victoria , i'm from Adelaide , but even in vic i don't think you have a huge selection , has Peter Stevens is the importer and its there outlets you are going to , but with saying that when i came over to vic for the british bike rally , i was thinking of getting the T bird , and popped in to the geelong store the salesman there was freindly , and offering me a used one with 1000 klm or so at a good price .

I bought mine in Adelaide in june and to give you a general idea , i bought the bike , with 12 months reg , T bars , shortie pipes , touring seat , passenger backrest , drive away 25,000 , plus they gave me a real good trade in price on my harley , . all parts fitted included

With saying that i met a bloke the other day , he had bike , seat , shortie pipes, and widscreen , yet he paid 27,000 drive away , so there is a BIG room for them to manourver.

Hope this helps

I did my homework on pricing via the net then talked to Peter Stevens in Ringwood.
Kirby was great when I was buying my bike and either he or Darren would look after you. Very low pressure guys.
Jess in service is also nice to deal with.
The guys organise ride days that are a lot of fun and sign you up for the RAT club. Can't speak highly enough of these 2 guys.
If you are near Shep AJ's might be the go.
Mention my name to Kirby or Darren if you go to Ringwood, might help or might not you can but try.
