I swear, i don't know what it is, but somehow bikes can fix some of the worse physical maladies let alone mental. I can understand the latter, but how does a bike fix physical ailments? I get on the thing when feeling physically under the weather and it tend to fix me right up. But today was above and beyond. I woke u feeling seriously ill. Not gonna go into the symptoms but suffice it to say i really felt i was going to have a heart attack or stroke. 5 hours later i felt even worse. Then i decided that while it's unlikely to help, i'd try a dose of that medicine that works so well at east for minor issues. Triumph. I couldn't imagine tat would help as ill as i felt but 10 minutes into the ride i felt 50% better. By the time i was 1/2 way thru one of my fav loops thru mountains and farmland i felt normal ! All symptoms gone. How the hell a bike can do that is something i will never understand. I can understand the activity of riding helping with feeling crappy due to being sedentary, or help with depression or such. But how it helped me today when i really felt worried about how i felt just doesn't make a lot of sense, but man am i glad it did ! Oh, and at the end of this month i will have owned Brutus 16 years !

Daz, it's both - and not just any motorcycle.
Took a ride up to Downieville today - smell of blossoms in the air, high 70s to low 80s, no traffic, sunshine slowly gave way to thunderstorm weather and caught a few drops of rain. Perfect spring day, spectacular scenery, I swear the motor was humming a tune. It's bound to cure your ills and brighten your day. That's what got us hooked in the first place, no?
It's not for everybody, only those who can appreciate it.
