Everyon has an opinion and evry one has a right to there opinion , BUT my original posts was not aimed at everyone with an opinion , JUST SOME , because some people in this life , like to say ----I'm a straight shooter sort of guy ---- I call it has i see it --- i'm a call a spade a spade sort of guy .

When all along they use this straight opinion has a excuse to BE RUDE , The reaction this guy got from a lot of you not all but some , was not a opinion it was rude and unfreindly , why cos he wants to make his bike into a bike that suits him more . AND YOU DON'T LIKE IT ,, get real

Now this is the arrogance , and opinionated agression , that i normaly associate with , BIG FAT LONELY SPINSTERS , we all know one, the big fat chick who can't get a dance so she shoots her mouth off and beomes the work place bitch .

I have a opinion on T birds , and that is that a lot ,,NOT ALL ,,but a lot of Tbird riders cannot ride for shit . tHE t BIRD IS VERY USER FREINDLY and has such i think a lot of the riders who cannot handle other bikes , get on and then think they can handle bikes and THERES IS THE BEST simply because they can go round a bend 10 miles per hour faster than there previos kawi cruiser or the like .

HOWS THAT FOR A OPINION , and everyone is entitled to one

Every one likes to put shit on the Harley , well let me tell you i've got a mate who rides a softail , and put him in the hills ( WHERE IT COUNTS ) NOT AT THE LIGHTS OR ON A STRAIGHT RD , BUT IN THE HILLS . and it would take a proffesional rider to catch him .

Then i come here and listen to you guys bag the harley , Tell you what theres very few guys who can take MOST modern bikes to there limits I know i can't ,

Yet funny enough where it counts in the hills , and twisties the T BIRD is one of the few bikes I CAN TAKE TO THE LIMIT .

So come on, bring it on ,,i'm ready for ya i'll out race ya , out opinionate ya, out ride ya , and out argue ya

Hey Con,

Here are a few pics of my previous bike (VTX) on Deals Gap. Hmm, you are right I cant ride and I do not take it to the edge... As a matter of truth (sarcasm) I have never turned the throttle more than a third or let the smell of sparks enter into the atmosphere. So, in the hills, lets have a go mate.

Ive got a huge Peavey cab stashed away . Twin 15 inch celestion black widows in it. Used to run it with my bandit I think years ago.

Really must do something with it one day...

Just a note...cool pic. For this bike, Ive adopted a slightly different geometry. Instead of body and bike over with head up,
I want spine over, weight on the inside butt bone, knee out 2-3 inches, but the bike is much more upright.

It's a racing technique that I use for this cruiser. 30 mph scrappers are now 40 mph smooth. This I do ever since
Raptivo on the other forum totaled his. Scrapped himself off the tires into a curb coming up onto the freeway.

Even lane changing, I practice. Straight = both knees off the tank. Then one knee comes in, the other out, just a
little 1" move.

Not much counter steer needed, I feel much more control of the lateral balance.

See, when I let out that inside knee, it naturally weights the inside butt bone. As I said, it's practice for
the real twisters.

Anyone ever scrape the outside peg? I have. The road was almost too steep a hairpin, up to Mt Hamilton and
though upright and slow, the outside slope was enough to catch. Scared the crap out of me, because inside
was a bramble ravine.

Interesting you say that Diz, because my "go fast" around corners position is almost identical to your description. However, I actually lean my body off of the bike a little like when you are riding a sport bike.

Right! I saw a guy on a Goldwing with his body and head below the tank, just cutting it up! I was Impressed. Ran away from
me back in the Redwoods curves.
