The first 1,000 folks that show us the key to their Triumph motorcycle will receive an exclusive Triumph sport bag during Long Beach IMS Show on December 17-19, 2010. We are back on the IMS show circuit for the first time in more than five years, and we want everyone to know it. You've been waiting, asking, demanding that we return ??? we listened and we're coming back in a big way.
Wear your Triumph gear, Ride your Triumph motorcycle, Show off your Triumph t-shirt, and show us your Triumph key to get a custom Triumph sport bag.
Plus, while you're there, we will be unveiling SEVEN brand new 2011 motorcycles. Stop by the our booth for the official unveilings and product presentation. This will be the first time anyone in the country will see at least three of the motorcycles unveiled (Rumor has it there will be a wicked 'street fighter' in the mix...Stop by to see for yourself). Here's the schedule:
Friday, 12/16 ??? 7:00pm

Last year a local Triumph dealer had a pretty good display with quiet a few bikes. This year nothing Triumph....what a bummer. I hope somebody post some pics that makes it to Long Beach.

Presently The wife has a Red TBA and I have a Black TBA and a BRG Trophy. Anyway, the plan is to visit the brother-in-law this coming weekend in Yorba Linda and then head over to the Long Beach show. We plan on taking the camera, so hoping to get some good shots of the new Triumphs. If all works out as planned, I will post.

Glad to hear you are still considering a Tbird. I'm currently planning on going to the Long Beach IMS show Friday afternoon/evening either with my better half or not. It's only a 88 mile ride for me. Sorry I didn't make Cambria this last summer, I think you were there. I did the Sunrise to Sunset (Bay Area to Nv mountains to the Ca coast) ride with the NorCal Presidents two weekends before. I have been down in Vista, Ca for the last 17 months. Maybe I'll see you at the show again this time (remember the San Mateo show two years ago or was it three).

So how's retirement treating you? Getting any riding time in, down in Vista? Not sure when we will be at the LB show, most likely it will be Saturday AM/PM. I,ve been a site lurker for a little while, waiting to convince AmyLee we need a T-Bird in the stable. I think it was the San Matao show two years ago we last crossed paths. Take some pics while your there Friday and we can compare those with Saturdays pics that AmyLee and I take. Have a super visit, and we'll be thinking of you while its our turn to check out the new Triumphs.

| | Posted : 16 Dec 2010 - 19:51 Post title : Re: New Triumphs at Long Beach show (Re: Habuba) | | | Hi Bob, Retirement is good and busy. We bought a 1943 Spanish Adobe house that needed a lot of attention. Now that we are 17 months into it we are feeling pretty good. I have now only the 57 single pain original wood windows to rehab (one door and 3 windows completed) and someday the bathrooms. We had the kitchen done to match the original but updated and I built my wife a 180 sq foot storage shed (walk-in closet)and added 250 sq ft on to an original tool shed which is now my bike shed or agriculture tractor shed if the city shows up. The house is on old Avocado growing property and sits on the summit, up about 500 feet elevation with the ocean about 8 miles to the west and catalina island seen about 80 miles out. We get the ocean breezes coming up the canyon so its present in the summer months and moderate in the cold months. Just a real sweet spot. The roads down here seem to be in better shape than up north and lots of back roads to travel and enjoy. We have the mountains in the back yard and desert out about 80 miles to the east. Probably similar to what you have up there. I miss the north but really enjoy it down here as well. Friday is the only good day for the Bike Show for my wife and I. One of our three sons is in Newport Beach and have planned to have lunch with him as well. Hope to see you guys one of these days. I'm going to try and do Cambria this year. Tell AmyLee I said hi and you guys take care. Happy Holidays and put a Thunderbird under your tree real soon. Gary

I emailed our own Thunderbird team designer Tim Prentice last night and he said he would be at the show all weekend. He is working with Mission Motors now in San Francisco on their electric race bike which is pretty cool and he said they just finished. Sounds like it will be shown at the show as well. Link - Link He said he also might be doing something at the show with Triumph on The Speed Triple, Storm, America and Speedmaster as well. Hope to see some of you there. Gary
