| Posted : 28 Oct 2009 - 16:43 Post title : Specialty Spares | | Thought I should move this into it's own category "Take off's for research" thread was a bit misleading. Specialty Spares is researching exhaust as well, and has requested a set of take off's (which member here is considering) to come up with a set of exhaust for the T-Bird. I have worked with Dale personally and he calls me on idea's from time to time. He is taking this one up because I have let him know this is a worth while effort for this bike.
I have the Long Cannons on my America and they are not a quiet pipe, but not too loud by my estimation and I love the tone and sound. SS does a good job designing pipes that bring out the nuances of the PT engine. Will keep you updated.

He does however do limited run specialty orders for me. I have been considering asking him to do some cat eliminator systems if I knew what it should be like...open to any thoughts would be helpful. He may consider making a limited production for us. I'll check, we could make it look like whatever we wanted.

I know they are working on a Thunderbird option. Will let you know as soon as they produce something.
